Step into my shoes so you would see
What it actually is like to be me
Wrapped in a world of forced feigned smiles
Fed with colored fancy lies
A guy by my side tells me he loves me
When his actions tell otherwise
In mime sceneries there is more to see
Than an exchange of dialogue that’s over-revised
Encircled with friends that say they care
With acts of concern they try hard to share
A family rooted for mere responsibility
A love disguised for lucid pity
I know now why I am caressed this way
Why I am draped with masked love every single day
A frail heart—too weak to handle the truth
For I was literally once the baby of the blue
